Data Deletion Instructions

When you connect an Instagram Business account to Apionics, we may store the following data:

• Your Instagram Business Account ID
• Your Instagram username and display name
• Profile picture URL (fetched from Instagram)
• Access tokens used for official Instagram permission-based features
• Conversation and message data retrieved through the Instagram Messaging API
• Synced comment text, commenter metadata returned by Instagram, related media context, reply records, and moderation state
• Content drafts and scheduled posts created within Apionics

1. Open the Apionics workspace and review connected accounts in Accounts.
2. Disconnect the connected Instagram account where the workspace provides that control.
3. Delete or close the Apionics workspace/account where supported by your access level.
4. If you cannot complete deletion inside the workspace, send a deletion request using the contact below.

Removing a connected account stops future workspace access to that account, but it may not remove previously stored workspace records. Use a deletion request when stored workspace data should be removed.

When a deletion request is initiated through Meta, Meta sends Apionics a signed deletion callback. Apionics validates the signed request, removes the matching connected Instagram account record and access token, related conversation and message records, account-linked Instagram media, synced comments and replies, publishing tasks, and account-linked activity logs, then returns a confirmation code and status URL. This callback does not remove workspace-level drafts or uploaded media that may be associated with other workspace activity.

Please include the following in your request:

• The email address or workspace user name used with Apionics
• The Apionics workspace name or account identifier, if known
• The Instagram Business account name or account identifier connected to the workspace, if known
• A brief description of your request

We may need to verify identity or account ownership before processing the request. We will review and process confirmed manual deletion requests within 30 days where technically and legally possible, then confirm by email.

A Meta signed callback removes data associated with the matching connected account. A confirmed workspace deletion request removes the following workspace content:

• All Instagram account connections and access tokens
• All conversation and message data associated with your accounts
• Synced Instagram media, comments, comment replies, and moderation records
• Content drafts, uploaded media files, and scheduled publishing tasks
• Account-linked activity logs associated with this content

Deleting workspace content does not itself delete a separate Apionics sign-in user account. Some limited records may be retained where required for security, audit, dispute, or legal reasons. Deletion from Apionics does not affect data stored by Instagram. To manage Instagram data, use Instagram's own privacy controls.

You can also revoke Apionics's access to your Instagram account from the connected app permissions controls associated with your Instagram Business Login:

1. Open the connected app permissions area for the Instagram Business account you used
2. Find Apionics in the list of connected apps
3. Choose Remove access

This will revoke our access to your Instagram data through the connected account permissions you previously granted.
